SUBURBAN THEATRES
The Prince Edward Theatre is to show “Tommy Atkins” (Lillian HallDavis and Walter Butler) and “Homesick” (Sammy Cohen). Eve Bentlev ? s orchestra, lately of the Strand Theatre, will play. At the Capitol Theatre, Dominion Road, the pictures will be “Red Hot Speed” (Reginald Denny) and “The Fleet’s In” (Clara Boy). The Empire Theatre, Dominion Road, will screen “Red Hot Speed” (Reginald Denny). There will also be a special variety entertainment arranged by the Eden Chamber of Commerce. Well-known artists will assist. The Edendale Cinema will show “Shadows of the Night” (Lawrance Gray) and “Flash”; also “Rinty of the Desert” (Rin-Tin-Tin). At the Grey Lynn Cinema the pictures are to be “Tommy Atkins” (Lillian Hall-Davis and Walter Butler); also “Red Wine” (Conrad Nagel). The pictures being shown at the Parish Hall, 1 >evonport, are “Avalanche” (Jack Holt) and "Paradise” (Betty Balfour).
