TOO MANY CHANGES

PUKEKOHE SCHOOL STAFF Press Association PUKEKOHE, Monday. A motion of protest to the Education Board against frequent changes in school staffs during the year was carried unanimously at the annual meeting of householders at Pukekohe tliis evening. The headmaster, Mr. E. F. Snell, explained that every standard class but one had had three different teachers during the year. It was mentioned that two previous meetings of householders had passed resolutions on the same subject. It was decided to suggest to the board that it should be made a strict rule that all appointments should date from February 1, thus obviating the transfer of teachers during the year excetp in very special circumstances.
