The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the Federal steamer Cornwall, which leaves Liverpool on June 22 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, will now call at Napier to discharge cargo. SOUTHERN CROSS SAILING. This afternoon the Melanesian Mission steainer Southern Cross leaves Auckland for the New Hebrides and Solomon Islands, via Norfolk Island. Mr. J. W. Jones has joined the vessel as chief officer, and Mr. H. M. Helz as second officer. 0 TASMANIA COMPLETING. Now at the Queen’s Wharf completing her loading for America and England, the local office of the New Zealand ShippingCompany hopes to dispatch the steamer Tasmania from Auckland next Saturday for New York, Boston, Halifax, Avonnioutli, Glasgow and Liverpool. NORFOLK REPORTS.—According to a radio mesage received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Federal steamer Norfolk is expected to arrive at Auckland at S a.m. on Wednesday from Liverpool. The vessel is bringing general cargo from West of England ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. MAUNGANUI FROM SYDNEY. According to a radio message received by the local office of the Union Company, the intercolonial passenger steamer Maunganui is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at six o’clock to-morrow morning from Sydney. She will berth about S a.m. at the Queen’s Wharf to land her passengers, mails, and cargo: She is scheduled to leave Auckland at 3 p.m.. next Friday on her return trip to Sydney.
