TRAIN CRASHES INTO CAR
PASSENGER’S LEG AND ARM INJURED ACCIDENT AT LEVEL-CROSSING (From Our Oton Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. A railway crossing accident occurred on Saturday evening at 8.30 when a goods train crashed into the rear of a motor-car at the Hopuhopu crossing near Ngaruawahia. The rear wheel of the car was torn off. The driver, whose name is not known, escaped injury. A passenger, Mr. James Fogerty, an elderly man, of Whatawhata, received injury to his right arm and hip. His condition is not serious.
