QUEEN ST. SQUABBLE

OLD OFFENDER FINED £1 “He has visited us here on 26 previous occasions,’’ commented SubInspector McCarthy when James Arthur Reid admitted at the Police Court this morning that he had behaved a little riotously in Queen Street on Saturday. A squabble in the street was held by Air. McCarthy to be responsible for Reid’s arrest. He had become involved in an argument with another man and the two had eventually reached the stage when words were not sufficient. Reid, who had pleaded guilty to being disorderly while drunk, was fined £l. He was refused time to pay.
