FINAL ELECTION TOTALS RUSHWORTH’S 474 MAJORITY (Special to THE SUN) WHANGAREI, To-day. The result of the final count in the Bay of Islands election is as follows: H. M. Rushworth (Country) .. 4.385 Allen Bell (Reform) 3,911 Majority for Rushworth . . 474 Postal votes totalled 114 and were distributed as follow:—Bell, 67; Rushworth, 47. Mr. Rushworth received 127 absentee votes and Mr. Bell 126. There were 35 informal votes.
