EIGHT RACEHORSES BURNED TO DEATH IN MARYLAND FIRE
(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) NEW YORK, Thursday. A message from Havre de Grace, Maryland, a port 35 miles north-east of Baltimore, says eight well-known racing thoroughbred horses were burned to death in a fire which destroyed three stables at the race track there. Several other racehorses are believed to have been killed.
