Dickie arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited from Wellington. Mr. C. E- MacCormick, Judge of the NaYive Land Court, left for Wellington last evening. Mr. S. S. Allen, administrator of the Mandated territory of Western Samoa, l*»ft by the Tofua to-day on his return to Apia. Mr. A. G. Barnett, secretary of the Wellington Harbour Board, sailed on iho Tofua to-day for a holiday in the South Seas. The Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, returned to Wellington last evening by the Limited. Mr. W, Weir, of the firm of Andrew Weir and Co., England, and Mrs. Weir left by the Tofua to-day on trie Islands trip. Mr. C. G. Lucas, who for the past three years has been clerk to the Mataraata Town Board, has been appointed clerk to the Whakatane Borough Council.
