W. B. Taverner, Minister in charge of the department, yesterday. The Publicity Department was receiving a good deal of attention at • present, said Mr. Taverner, but unti the Minister of Finance announced what amount of money would be available for the year it was not possibfc to finalise the programme. The amount spent last year was only £30,000, wheih was very small for a publicity campaign.
