SILVERTON—WEST
An interesting wedding at the Morrinsvillo Methodist Church on Wednesday was that between Alice Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. C. Silvester, of Morrinsville, and Ronald Herbert, eldest son of Mr. Forbes West, of Piako. The church was artistically decorated by friends of the bride, and the service was fully choral. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming frock of fawn wool charmeuse relieved with touches of blue, and a pretty hat to lone. Her bouquet was of blue and white flowers and asparagus fern. Miss Lily Silvester, the bridesmaid, wore a frock of crushed strawberry repp, with fawn hat, and carried a bouquet of pink dahlias and cosmos. Mr. Douglas West, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. On their return from the honeymoon, which is being spent at Auckland and New Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs. West will reside at Horrell’s Road, Piako.
