DAVIS CUP TOURNEY

NO CHALLENGE FROM N.Z. THERE will be no Challenge entered by New Zealand fcr the Davis Cup this year, states Mr. D. Murray Kean, secretary of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association. In tennis circles it was believed that with the rise to form of C. Malfroy, the N.Z.L.T.A., which has been awaiting the chance to send abroad boys of great promise, would enter a team composed of E. D. Andrews. Malfroy and another player. It is understood, however, that with the same committee in office next year there is every probability of a challenge being entered next season.
