PLAYGROUND FOR PANMURE.—Followers of both aquatic and field sports are catered for in the proposed new recreation area for the Panmure-Mount Wellington districts. The conversion of the Panmure Basin into a treefringed lake, and the provision of cricket and football grounds, tennis courts and bowling greens, are included in the design, which is the work of Messrs. Blake and Brinsden, town-planners.
