Obituary

MR. EDWARD DYSON At the age of 52, Mr. Edward Dyson, of Rotorua, died suddenly late on Wednesday evening. Mr. Dyson had just returned from his office, where he had been working until about 10 o’clock, when he collapsed. He leaves a wife and one son. MRS. R. T. GILMOUR The death occurred at Hamilton on Wednesday of Mrs. Mary Agnes Gilmour. at the age of 59. Mrs. Gilmou.r was the wife of Mr. R. T. Gilmour, of Hamilton. The daughter of the late Police-Sergeant Murray, she was born in Auckland and came to Hamilton with her parents when she was still a child. She married in 1892. She had been for many years a member of the church choir of St. Andrew’s, and an active member of the Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union. She also worked in the cause of temperance. She leaves her husband and four children. MR. RUDOLPH FRIEDLANDER The fuineral took place yesterday, from his late residence at 71 Great South Road, of Mr. Rudolph Friedlander, who, for many years, was connected with the business of Friedlander Bros.. Ltd., in Ashburton. Mr. Friedlander, on his retirement from active business, came to Auckland, where he resided for a number of years. Recently he underwent an operation. Mr. Friedlander's kindly nature won him many friends. He leaves a widow and four sons —Mr. Joseph Friedlander, of London, Dr. Hugo Friedlander, of Shanghai, Mr. Otto Friedlander, of Auckland, and Mr. David Friedlander, of Christchurch.
