HUNTLY RATEPAYERS’ ASSN
The annual meeting of the Huntly Ratepayers’ and Citizens’ Association disclosed a slight debit balance. The election of officers resulted: President. Mr. David Whyte; treasurer. Mr Thomas Cox; secretary, Mr. Roy Sheeran: committee, Messrs. J. X. McX'ee, G. Sale, C. Bowron. T. Chisholm and T. Hall.
Complimentary references to the activities of the Huntly Town Board, particularly in regard to the completion of the tar-sealing of the Main South Road of the local body’s area, were expressed by Mr. G. Smith and Dr. R. C. Macdiarmid.
