RUGBY UNION’S PROTEST CHRISTCHURCH. To-dav. ; The following notice of motion is t«» b© sent by the Canterbury Rugby Union to the New Zealand Union’s annual meeting of delegates next month: “That tho union disapproves of tho > agreement drafted between New* Zealand and New South Wales Rugby * Unions in connection with football tours between the two countries and, 1 further, that the union is of the opinion ■ that this year’s tour of the New Zen - , land team of Australia should be held 2 ono month later than at present.”
