ANTICIPATING TOURIST TRADE.—A new passenger launch for Lake Waikaremoana, to cope with the increased tourist trade, which will be opened up by the new road over the Urewera Mountains from Rotorua to Waikaremoana, has been approved by Cabinet. The present launch, pictured above, was built in Auckland by Logan Brothers, thirty years ago.
