CAR AND LORRY COLLIDE

GREAT SOUTH ROAD ACCIDENT

While travelling down Great Sohtli Road about mid-day on Saturday a small car driven by Mr W J. Fletcher, borough traffic inspector for Otahuhu, collided with a lorry owned by Henning. Limited, contractors, and driven by Mr. J. Henning. The car was badly damaged, the windscreen being broken and one side of the body was torn away. Mr. Fletcher received cuts on the face from flying glass. The lorry was not damaged.
