GOSPEL CAMPAIGN

BLIND SOLDIERS’ MISSION GRANGE ROAD SERVICES The commencement of the second week’s campaign by Mr. Andrew Johnston, the blind soldier evangelist, at the Grange Road Church on Sunday was most successful. In the morning, at 10 o’clock, the Endeavour Societies united with the Dominion Road Methodist Endeavourers. At 11 a.m. the Rev. A. S. Wilson, preached to a large congregation on Matthew v.. vi.: “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled.’’ At 2.30 a children’s meeting was conducted by Mr. R. S. Abel. Mr. An- j drew Johnston being the speaker. Later i Mr. Johnston addressed a meeting of Bible Class members, including some from Kingsland Methodist Church, on the necessity fo.r a satisfactory Christian life through separation from the world and consecration to God’s service. The crowning meeting of the day was at 7 p.m., when Mr. Johnston gave a stirring address on the losses sustained by not accepting Christ.
