CHRISTCHURCH SCHEME APPLICATION FOR INJUNCTION Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The hearing of an application for an injunction to prevent the Christchurch City Council proceeding with its improvement scheme in Cathedral Square was begun in the Supreme Court to-day. Nominally the applicant for the injunction was the Attorney-General, but actually the application was made by a “Save the Square” committee under the chairmanship of Mr. George Gould. There was an attendance of interested spectators at the Court. (Proceeding.)
