FAREWELL PARTY

j On Saturday evening Dr. F. Gordon i entertained a few friends at a very j jolly Dixieland party, following a farewell dinner at the Grand Hotel. His I guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Dudley ! Gordon, who leave Auckland next week | to reside in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Caldwell, Miss Kitty Horsley, Miss Eva Payne (Dunedin), and Mr. Crawford Young. Mrs. Dudley Gordon wore a gown of cedar rose lace. Mrs. Keith Caldwell was in a frock of ombre georgette of cyclamen shades. Mi.ss Horsier wore a bouffant picture frock of sea foam green taffeta. Miss Payne’s ankle-length gown was of pistache green georgette, and green and gold milan lace.
