SUBURBAN THEATRES
At the Prince Edward Theatre this evening the pictures are “The Constant Nymph" (Mabel Pouiton and Ivor Novello) and “The Phantom City” (Ken Maynard). The Capitol Theatre will show “Romance of the Underworld” (May Astor) and “Avalanche” (Jack Holt). The Grey Lynn Cinema is to screen “Champagne” (Betty Balfour) and “Prep and Pep” (David Hollins). The Edendale Theatre will show “Home James” (Laura La Plante) and “Sparkling Youth” (all star cast). The Victoria Theatre, Devonport, will show “The Crash” (Milton Sills) and “Phyllis of the Follies” (Alice Day and Edmund Burns). The Empire Theatre, Dominion Road, is to screen “The Farmer’s Daughter” (Marjorie Beebe) and “The Sporting Life” (Belle Bennett). At the Foresters’ Hall, Birkenhead, the pictures will be “Red Wine” (Conrad Nagel) and one of the “Collegians” series.
