LINDRUM LEADS MACONACHIE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, Wednesday. Walter Lindrum is playing Maconachie a time limit billiards match. Today the Australian’s superior game gave him a lead of 5,373, including a break of 1,116 and one of 2,562. Maconachie made 3,114. His best breaks were 302 and 251. DAVIS AND NEWMAN (United Service) LONDON, Wednesday. In the final of the billiards championship Davis (in play) has scored 3,002 and Newman 1,114.
