PUKEKOHE NEWS

MINISTER’S RESIGNATION Permission has been granted by the Auckland Presbytery for the Rev. Nixon, of Pukekohe, to accept a call to Pukerau, near Gore. At a meeting of the congregation of St. James's Church on Monday evening it was decided to accept the resignation of Mr. Nixon from the charge. Arrangements are in hand to say cood-bye tojthe minister and his wife, who have been living in Pukekohe for several years.

At a music examination held by the Associated Board of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, London, the following pupils of the Pukekohe Convent were successful: Amelia Barabarick, Molly Ganley, Gladys Armstrong and Joyce Motion.
