TAKAPUNA’S SCHEME Interesting figures with regard to aggregate totals of sewers laid to date in the comprehensive scheme now being carried out in Tukapuna were submitted by the borough engineer at last evening’s meeting of the Borough Council. Mr. stated that 75,652 ft of sewers had been installed, made up of 17,931 ft of main line sewers, I,llßft of outfalls and 56.633£t of reticulating sewers. Drains—in—common already completed totalled 9,936 ft, while the two big undertakings of the Milford storage culvert and the Clifton storage tunnel were respectively 2,156 ft and 2,620 ft in length.
