WIFE GOES TO AFRICA

HUSBAND ASKS COURT TO GET HER BACK REFUSES TO RETURN Given permission to visit her parents in South. Africa, Ruth Marguerite Armstrong decided not to return to her husband, Cyril Frederick Armstrong (Mr. Towle), who petitioned in the Supreme Court this morning for restitution of conjugal rights. Petitioner said he was married in London in July, 1925. He and his wife then went to South Africa, and later came to New Zealand, where he set up as an electrical engineer. Witness permitted his wife to pay a visit to South Africa in October, 1927, paying her expenses. He had asked her to come back, but all his requests had failed. She recently cabled: “I shall never return.” Mr. Justice Blair made an order for respondent’s return within 60 days of service of the order.
