lONIC LEAVES COLON. —Cabled news last Thursday afternoon for Southampton and London, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington on March 13.

WAIHEMO FOR ISLANDS. —Advice has been received by the local office of the Union Company that the steamer Waihemo is to leave Sydney on April 16 for Fiji, Apia anti Vancouver.

NARKUNDA AT FREMANTLE.-The P. and O. liner Xarkunda reached Fremantle from London yesterday. She is due at Sydney next Thursday. TOFUA FOR AUCKLAND—The local office of the Union Company advises that the Island passenger steamer Tofua leaves Suva at noon to-day lor Auckland, where she is due next Monday. SOUTHERN CROSS SAILING.—The Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross is now scheduled to sail for the mission stations in the Solomon Islands and New Hebi'ides on Saturday, April 20, instead of April 18. She is loading at Central Wharf. WAIPAHI RESUMlNG.—According to advice received from the locej office of the Union Company, the Island fruit steamer Waipahi is to resume running in the Cook Island fruit trade. She is scheduled to leave Auckland on May 2 for Rarotonga, Mangaia and Aitutaki. MAUI POMARE POSTPONED.—Spedding, Ltd., advises that the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare will not leave Auckland for Niue Island and Apia tomorrow afternoon as was intended. Her departure has been postponed until five o’clock on Saturday evening. CANADIAN WINNER LATE.—Advice from the local office of the Canadian National Steamships says that the Canadian Winner will now leave Napier to-day, and is expected at Auckland early on Saturday morning. She is to be dispatched for New York, Boston and Montreal on Monday afternoon. TASMANIA LATE.—-The New Zealand Shipping Company has reecived advice that the Tasmania is now to leave Gisborne for Auckland next Monday to complete loading for New Y"ork, Boston, Halifax and West Coast ports of Great Britain. The vessel is due on Tuesday, and is to be dispatched for New York on the following FridajL REMUERA COMING.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remueni is scheduled to leave London to-day and to clear Southampton to-morrow. The vessel is bringing passengers and mail for New Zealand and cargo for discharge at Wellington, Napier and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on May 17 and at Auckland about 10 days later. STORSTEN DUE.—Further wireless advice from the motor-tanker Storsten states she will arrive from San Pedro this evening. The vessel has a full cargo of bulk oil for the Atlantic Union Oil Company. She will unload a quantity of cargo into the company’s tanks at Freeman’s Bay, and the remainder at Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. ROTORUA’S ITINERARY.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua is due at Auckland from London and Southampton on April 19. After unloading at Auckland, Wellington and New Plymouth, Auckland, Tokomaru Bay, ref I'ige rated and general cargo at New Pliymouth, Auckland, Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, Lyttelton and Wellington. She will load, at Auckland from May 9 to May 12, and from 'Wellington she will sail for Southampton and London on May 25. RARANGA DUE TO-MORROW.—Ad-vice has been received by A. S. Paterson and Company that the Shaw, Savi.l and Albion steamer Raranga was unable to leave Napier last evening and is now to sail at noon to-day for Auckland. She is due here to-morrow and berths at the Queen’s Wharf to continue her loading. From this port the vessel proceeds to Wellington, where she completes loading, and finally departs on April 24 for London and west coast ports of England, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. HUNTINGDON’S LOADING PORTS.— The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that, on completion of her discharge of Liverpool cargo at Bluff, the Federal steamer Huntingdon commences loading there and later ffils up at Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier Gisborne and Auckland. She is due here on May 15, and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on May IS for London via

CANADIAN CHALLENGER ARRIVES. —Shortly after 10 o’clock this morning the Canadian Challenger arrived in the stream at Auckland irom Halifax, and later berthed at the Prince’s Whim. The vessel loaded at Louisburg and Halifax, and cleared the latter port on March 3. For the first live days the Canadian Challenger experienced very bad weather, including gales, snow, and sleet. After passing the Bermudas fair to moderate weather was experienced until arrival here. The vessel Ims approximately 5,000 tons of cargo for discharge at New Zealand ports. Captain K. S. Wilson is in command of the Canadian Challenger, and has the following officers with him: Chief, Mr. A. Jensen; second, Mr. F. Wright; third. Mr. M. Ryer; chief engineer, Mr. W. Irving; second, Mr. P. Patterson: third, Mr. 11. Chapman; fourth, Mr. F. Kilvert: wireless operator, Mr. G. Du Fresne; chief steward, Mr. J. McDougall. The vessel is expected to leave here tomorrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, T:muru, and Dunedin to complete her discharge and to load for her return voyage. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE— The following vessels are expected to be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations to-night: Auckland.—Niagara, Tofua, Tutanekai, Waitemata, Baron Fairlie, Raranga, Canadian Winner, Poolta, Brockabeck. Chatham Islands.—Ruahine, Rotorua, ndic. Wellington.—Arahura, Diomede, Maori, Ngaio, Tamahine, Wahine, Amaltbus. Tasmania, Keelung, Trongate, Middlesex, Ir.kum. Awarua.—Tahiti, Makura, Manuka, Herminius, C. A. Larsen, Plume, Karetu. PORT OF ONEHUNGA— The Rarawa is to leave for New Plymouth at 3 o’clock this afternoon, and returns to port'at 7.30 a.m. on Saturday. The Arapawa is to arrive from Raglan and Kawhia to-morrow morning. She sails for Opunake and Wanganui at 3 p.m. that day. The Regulus is due at Onehunga on April Id to load for Pic ton, Nelson and West Coast ports. The Hauturu is to be dispatched for Hokianga at 3 p.m. to-day. and returns at 6 o'clock on Sunday morning.
