While the action takes place during the period of the World War, it is no: essentially a war picture, since only one scene of the battlefront is shown The story deals with the whitehaired mother, who sacrifices her socto her country, who fares on through sorrow' and despair until, conquering fate, she finally attains happiness. In the cast are Margaret Mann, the 60-year-old screen find, w’ho gives brilliant performance as the mother James Hall. Charles Morton, Geo"gc Meeker and Francis X. Bushman, jun.. i who play the sons; Earle Foxe and ! June Collyer. j
