Weighs Are Out For Whangareio

SPLENDID FIELDS BRIGHT PROSPECTS A full realisation of the splendid fields entered for the autumn meeting at Whangarei on Thursday and Saturday of next week is arrived at when one puruses the handicaps announced to-day by Mr. F. J. McManemin. Class is a strong feature, and the fields are large throughout, so that making due allowance for those that will fade out on acceptance day it can be taken for granted that there will be all the material to furnish the best of sport at the popular northern rendezvous next week. Special train and steamer arrangements will be announced shortly. Owners and trainers are given a reminder that acceptances for the first day will close at 5 p.m. on Monday next, April 15, with the secretary, Mr F. L. Gunn, Whangarei, or at the" same time with Messrs. Blomtield and Company, High Street. Auckland.
