CORNWALL PARK SCHOOL

FOURTH ANNUAL REPORT The report to be presented at the fourth, annual meeting of householders on. April 22, whose children attend the Cornwall Park district school states that the number of scholars is steadily increasing and last December there were 600 on the roll. The 49 scholars in Standard 6 at the end of 1928 all gained proficiency certifleates. and one secured a Junior National Scholarship. The school again won the Ahzac Banner for essays by a team of six. This 'vas the third time the school has taken the trophy. For the second time the Flag Cup essay competition was won by the school. The first portion of the new infant, school has been erected oil the site purchased for the purpose. This lias relieved congestion in the main school. However, it was still necessary to retain the temporary building, and this would probably be required until a fourth room was added to the infant department.
