FREIGHTER TOTAL WRECK CREW RESCUED BY TUGS (Australian atod N.Z. Press Association) (Received 12.50 p.m.) CAPETOWN, Tuesday. r PHE American freighter West- -*■ ern Knight, ran on the rocks in a dense focj eight miles south of Port Elizabeth. The crew and five passengers were rescued by tugs. The ship is a total wreck. The Western Knight, a steamer of 5,779 tons, was built at Seattle in 1919 and is owned by the AmericanSouth African Line. She was registered at New York.
