MENACE TO FLOCKS
ALSATIANS NOT WANTED SHEEPOWNERS PROTEST (Special to THE SUX) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. The New Zealand Sheepowners’ and Farmers’ Federation is supporting the protest of Sir Thomas Mackenzie against the importation of Alsatian wolfhounds into the Dominion. In a letter to Sir Thomas, the secretary, Mr. W. Nicholson states the feredatlon is prepared to give every assistance in securing an embargo on the introduction of an animal that would be a menace to flocks.
