HARBOUR BOARD VACANCY

KEEN COMPETITION IN SOUTH (Special to THE SUN) HAMILTON, To-day. Two candidates have agreed to stand for the vacant seat on the Auckland Harbour Board representing the boroughs of Hamilton, Ngaruawahia, Te Awamutu and Cambridge. They are Mr. J. E. Tidd and Mr. R. T. Reid, both of Hamilton. Mr. S. Saulbrey, of Ngaruawahia, is considering a request to stand. The vacancy was caused by the death of Mr. G. Parr. A. keen fight is expected, and nominations close on April 17. All electors on the Parliamentary electoral rolls in the four boroughs named aro eligible to vote.
