Bank shares are at present a popular investment, and many shares are being pold. Insurance section remains steady and in most cases prices remain firm. » * * In the coal section. Grey Valley are sought after at 21s 9d, Hikurangi are improving. THE general tone on Change is good and numerous transactions arc being recorded. Hank of Xew Zealand are • hanging hands freely, leaving little change in the market. Xew Zealand Breweries are very firm, few shares selling.
