INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS CONFERENCE IN LONDON British Official Wireless RUGBY, Monday. Experts from 15 countries are attending the annual meeting of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea, which was opened in London to-day. Among the subjects to be considered is the protection of whales. Comprehensive statistics are being obtained from whaling stations in all parts of the world. It has been suggested that a limit should be placed on whaling operations in order to prevent an increase in the present rate of exploitation.
