BOARD INSULTED
LETTER FROM PAPAKURA RATEPAYER (From Our Own Correspondent J PAPAKURA, To-day. Saying that the board was at least entitled to respect, the Papakura Town Board, at its meeting last evening, decided to return a letter sent by a ratepayer to the town clerk, with a request that It bo writtaa in more courteous language. The board decided to protest strongly to the Auckland ElectricPower Board against the repeated and lengthy interruptions in the power supply to Papakura. While the Director of Town Planning is still in Auckland he will be asked to visit Papakura and confer with members of the board. The chairman. Mr. James McCall, and the Rev. W. C. Wood were appointed to serve as a committee to arrange for a public service on Anzac Day in Papakura.
