LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY

CONCERT CHAMBER TO-MORROW The Bit tie Theatre Society’s first production for the 1929 season'will be presented for the first time at the Town Hall concert chamber to-mor-row evening. The performance will be repeated on the three succeeding evenings. The piece selected, John Drinkwater’s brilliant work, “Bird in Hand,” is the first Drinkwater play to be performed publicly in New Zealand, and Auckland theatre-goers are expected to be as interested as theatre-goers in London and Sydney who have recently seen the play presented there. The play requires a oast of only eight players, and the following Litle Theatre members have been chosen: —1 laridd Haines. Ernest Blafr, Janet Clarkson, Ina Allan. Morrison Steedman, Dan Flood, Gerald Roxburgh and Arnold Goodwin.
