The Paramount player, Nancy Caroll, who sings a number of som-s Paramount’s synchronised version "Abie’s Irish Rose." graduated fro!! musical comedy to the screen, as ah did other Paramount players such a Wallace Beery, James Hall and T, Oakie.

Metro-Gold wyn - May er announces that Harry Beaumont, the director of "Our Dancing Daughters.” and als. "Broadway Melody,” M.G.M.’s first ell. talking picture, has renewed his ror tract with this company. His firs assignment under his new contract has not yet been announced.
