ZIRCON UNLUCKY IN VALUABLE ONKAPARINGA RACE
Australian papers to hand by yesterday's mail brought details of the racing at tho Onkaparinga (S.A.) meeting on Easter Monday. The Auckland-owned gelding Zircon was included with the contestants for tho (rreut Eastern Steeplechase, but failed to complete the course. Owairaka went an honest race in the Titirangi Handicap, and no doubt because he had Reed in the saddle he was well in the market, being almost heavily backed as the winner, Oninemuri.
