New Blood to be Seen To-Morrow

THIRTY-THREE FRESH HORSES No less than 33 horses are included among to-morrow’s acceptors for Avondale that did not race on Saturday, and their presence will further tend to complicate the form exposed on the opening day. Of this number seven are supplied by the Takanini stable presided over by J. T. Jamieson. The*following list shows the horse down to make their first appearance at the meeting on the concluding day: Hobsonville Hurdles: Pouri, King’s Guard, Potoanui, Ramblin’ Kid, Kilburn, Boomerday and Karamu. Dominion Handicap: Sda Cob, Mon Star and Viburnum. Nursery Handicap: None of the eight acceptors was in the All Aged Stakes, the only race on Saturday in which two-year-olds could compete. Waitakere Handicap: Lorient 11. and Mithra. Autumn Handicap: Stormy, In the Shade and Tidal. Mount Roskill Handicap: Te Money, Brilliant Light and War Officer. Morningside Handicap: Thursby, Golden Krist, Le Choucas, Tidal, Maori Boy, Barometer and Sleepy Sol. A Strong Team j Outside of a most successful run j with his smart two-year-olds. Eaglet land Polyxena, trainer Jamieson has j not enjoyed a particularly good run with his string, but there is just the chance that he may atone to-morrow, for he has a .strong team engaged. The Takanini mentor has horses in five out of the eight races, the exceptions being the Hurdles, the sprint and the juvenile race. He has Sea Cob in the Dominion Handicap, Lorient 11. and Mithra in the Waitakere Handicap, In the Shade and Tidal in the Autumn Handicap. Brilliant Light in the Mount Roskill Handicap, and Le Choucas and Tidal in the Morningside Handicap. With this nicely assorted team in action to-morrow, it will be surprisin gif more than one dividend does not go their way. It may even pay to follow the stable, although one cannot be too sanguine on that point. Nevertheless, it is a team of possibilities.
