TAXI DRIVER IN COURT
In the Christchurch Police Court to-day William Barnett, a taxi-driver, was charged with an offence against a woman who had been a passenger in his car on a trip to Brighton on March 21. He pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court lor .trial. Kail was ailwed.—P-.A.
