WAIRARAPA’S LIGHT LIST SUPREME COURT SESSIONS Press Association MASTERTON, To-day. The half-yearly sitting of the Supreme Court opened to-day before Mr. Justice Smith. His Honour, in his address to the Grand Jury, said Wairarapa was in the fortunate position of having only one criminal case during the last six months. This was good grounds for congratulation. The criminal case is one in which Owen Llewellyn Udy is charged with intent to do actual bodily harm and with doing actual bodily harm by allegedly stabbing his father on a farm •at Carterton. After about an hour hnd a half s retirement, the jury brought in a true bill against Udy of assault, with intent to use force, to do actual bodily harm. The case is proceeding, the evidence being of a similar nature to that given in the lower court. Accused pleaded not guilty.
