AUCKLAND AUCTIONS Values for hides at- the auctions conducted by the Auckland Woolbrokers’ Association this afternoon held firm at late rates. Dried sheepskins were slightly easier. Heavy ox hides made to 9d; medium, 7*d to B\d : light. 7d to 7£d ; heavy cow, to 7 id: light and medium, 7id to 7 S-8d ; yearling, 7sd to 9d ; calf, 15d to 16}d. Three-quarter to full wool dried sheepskins made to 13Jd ; medium, 12Jd to 13d; coarse, lid to llid: half wools to 10£d; quarter wools, to lid; shorn pelts, lOd to 10.\d : dead and damaged. 6d to lOd ; salted half wools, to 8s: quarter wools, 6s to 7s ; short and shorn, 2s 6d to 5s 6d : dried lambs, to 12id.
