CIVIC FAREWELL NEXT WEEK Next Thursday evening citizens o£ Auckland will meet in the Chamber of Commerce to say good-bye to Mr. W. E. Bush, who is leaving shortly for Brisbane. This meeting has already been advertised to take place in the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Wednesday, but owing to the hall being already occupied on that and following evenings it will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday in the Chamber of Commerce. The Mayor. Mr. G. Baildon, will preside, and Mr. H. T. Merritt, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. G. Hutchison, president of the Rotary Club, and Mr. C. H. Furness, president of the Y.M.C.A., are the convenors.
