NAURU ISLAND LOADINGS.—The steamer Ellaston, 5,193 tons* has been chartered to load phosphates at Nauru Island for discharge in New Zealand or Australia. SULPHUR FROM TEXAS. The i steamer Inchdairnie, 6,596 tons, has beer, chartered to load sulphur at Galveston, Texas, for discharge at New Zealand, # Port Kembla and Geelong. CARGO FROM SOUTH AUSTRALIA.— The Union Company advises that the Kaponga has been fixed to load at Adelaide and Melbourne early in May for Auckland direct. NORTHUMBERLAND LEAVES CURACAO. —A cab.e message to the New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Federal steamer Northumberland left Curacao last Tuesday morning for London and West Coast of Great Britain, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington on March 9. MANUKA LEAVES MELBOURNE.— The Union Company has been notified by cable that its intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka letf Melbourne at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday direct for Wellington, where she is due on Monday. The vessel •will sail from there on Tuesday for Lyttelton. Dunedin, Bluff, and Melbourne. NORFOLK LEAVES PANAMA.— Cabled news has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Federal steamer Norfolk left Panama on Monday afternoon for New Zealand ports, en route from Liverpool. She is due at Auckland on April 22, and at "Wellington a week later.

STORSTEN DUE TU ESDAY,—Radio advice has been received by the local office of the Atlantic Union Oil Company that the tanker Storsten is expected to arrive at Auckland on Tuesday next, April 9, from Los Angeles. The tanker has petrol for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. NIAGARA DUE MONDAY. —The local office of the Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Niagara is due in the stream jat Auckland at 6 a.m. on Monday from I Sydney, and berths about 5.30 a.m. at the Prince’s Wharf. She is scheduled to sail again at 11 a.m. on Tuesday for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver. MARAMA CLEARS SYDN EY.—Cable advice has been received by the local office of the Union Company that the intercolonial passenger steamer Marama left Sydney at 3 p.m. ■ yesterday for Auckland, where she is due on Tuesday morning. She has been allotted a berth at £he Central Wharf. CAMBRIDGE REPORTS. —According to el radio message received by the local jfflee of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Federal steamer Cambridge is expected to arrive at Auckland on Tuesday evening from Liverpool. The vessel is bringing general cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. % RUAPEHU LEAVES LONDON. —The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the liner Ruapehu left London on April 4 for New Zealand. She is bringing passengers and mails for disembarkation at Wellington and cargo for discharge, at Wellington. Port Chalmers, Lyttelton. Auckland and New Plymouth. She is due at Wellington on May 12. FLOWERGATE REPORTS.—Wireless advice received by Henderson and Maofarlane, Ltd., from the steamer Flowergate states she will arrive from Nauru Island at noon to-morrow! She will berth at King's Wharf to unload 4.000 tons of phosphates for Auckland. The remainder of her phosphates cargo is for Lyttelton. SOUTHERN CROSS TO LOAD.— Messrs. Watkins and Wallis advise that the Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross is to load timber from Monday to Wednesday nevt, and will then take general cargo. The vessel is scheduled to leave on her customary round of Island mission stations on Saturday, April 20. CANADIAN WINNER DELAYED.— Advice has been received from the local office of the Canadian National Steamships that the Canadian Winner has been delayed by rain at Wellington, and will not leave there for Napier and Auckland until Monday night. She is expected here on Friday morning, will complete her loading here and is to sail for New York, Boston and Montreal on Saturday next. OTIRA’S LOADING PORTS. The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company’s cargo steamer Otira arrived at Dunedin at 2.45 p.m. on Thursday from Lyttelton to complete discharge of her Liverpool cargo. She will leave Dunedin to-day to load at Oamaru, Waikokopu, Auckland and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington on April 22. and will sail from that port on April "24 for London, via Montevideo and Rio de Janeiro. MAKURA FROM SAN FRANCISCO.— With passengers, mail and cargo from San Francisco. Papeete and Rarotonga, the Royal Mail liner Makura is due at Wellington on Monday morning. Passengers and mail for the North should reach Auckland by train on Tuesday. The vessel is to resume her voyage to Sydney dn Tuesday .and she is taking an Australian mail, which - will close at Auckland on Monday evening.
