Totalisator at Golf Competition

Press Association) Received 12.56 p.m. LONDON , Thursday, the first time in Great Britain a totalisator was operated during a professional golf competition to-day at Frlnlon-on-Bea, in which most of the British Ryder Cup team played. Two hundred and twelve halfcroivn tickets ivere sold, and the hackers of Duncan, the winner, received £1 2s. The hackers of Mitchell , and Charles TVhitcomhe, who were equal, second, received six shillings. The Golf Club took 10 per cent.
