LAUNCH CATCHES FIRE
MISHAP AT THAMES (Special to THE SUE) THAMES. To-day. Following the back-firing of its engine, the fishing launch Success, owned by Messrs. L. and C. Lom-i-, was burnt to the water's edge on Wednesday evening. Nets had been set in the Piako River when the engine misfired, and the woodwork was soon ablaze, the owners having to make their escape In a dinghy. The launch was insured for £250.
