(From Our Own CorrespoiidentJ Mrs. Park Pittar, of Hamilton, is holidaying in Thames. Mrs. Harold Wilson and Miss Ethel Upton, of Waingaro, are visitors to F'eilding for polo week. Mrs. Vere Chitty, accompanied by Miss Cecille Chitty and Miss Nancy Taylor, left Hamilton on Wednesday by car for Feilding for the polo tourney. Several Cambridge women have entered for the golf tournament in Rotorua next w*eek. They are: Mrs. A. H.

Nicoll, Mrs. A. Nolan, Mrs. X. Brown, Mrs. J. Banks, Mrs. Sutherland, Miss Cox, Miss A.- Nolan, Miss A. S. Robinson, Miss Watt, Miss E. Robinson and Miss I. Garland. Mrs. E. F. Peacocke, of Hamilton, is visiting Rotorua and Wairakei.

Mrs. K. J. McKenzie, of Tamahere, has returned from a visit to 'Wellington. FAREWELL, PARTIES Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Galbraith, who are leaving Raglan after live years for Kaikohe, where Mr. Galbraith will be postmaster, will be greatly missed by their many Raglan friends. Mr. Galbraith has taken a great interest in civic affairs, has been president of the Horticultural Society and Master of the Sea Scouts. Mrs. Galbraith has

been hon. secretary of the Horticultural Society. Prior to their departure they were entertained at a very jolly party in the Town Hall. Music and dancing sped away hours. During the evening Mr. A. G. Kirkwood and Mr. T. Parker, chairman of the Town Board, made very pleasant speeches about their departing friends. Mr. Parker asked them to accept a cheque from the residents. Little Isabelle Parker presented Mrs. Galbraith with a lovely bouquet,rand Master Wilcox gave Mr. Galbraith a gift from the Boy Scouts.
