ELECTION OF JUDGES
TASK FOR LEGAL SENATE MR. O’REGAN’S SUGGESTION Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. In a paper delivered to the New Zealand Law Society, Mr. P. J. O’Regan pronounced in favour of all appointments of judges and magistrates being made by the legal profession and not by political parties as at present. A legal senate should be formed which would make these appointments.
