WOMEN’S SOCIETY MEETS
BELMONT-BAYSWATER CLUB Yesterday afternoon the monthly meeting of the Belmont-Bayswaier Women’s Society was held in the Takapuna Clubhouse at Bayswater. Many members were present, and Mrs. F. E. N. Gaudin presided. An address on National Health was given by Mrs. Watson, who discussed the effects of various classes of food on the human body and upon the race in general. Members of the committee served afternoon tea and afterwards Mrs. Thomas, senr., on behalf of the society, presented Miss Nell Gaudin. daughter of the president, with a salad service. Among the members present were Miss Watson, Mrs. Itabbidge, Mrs. Thomas, senr., Mrs. Thomas, junr., Mrs. Francis, Mrs. Collinson, Mrs. Sandford. Mrs. Gyde, Miss Rupert Harrison, Mrs. Mac Kay, M.rs. Creamer, Mrs. Dowell, Mrs. Eason, Mrs. Inkster. Mrs. Waddell.
