( United P.A..—By Telegraph — Copyright) SYDNEY, Thursday.' At to-day's yearling sales, the top price, 1,000 guineas, was paid by Mr T-J. Clabell (Victoria.) for a CaravelCooghal colt from Taylor’s Wellington. New South Wales, stud. Mr. C. Elgar gave 590 guineas for a Caravel -Martuk colt from the same stud. Waikato Entries Nominations for all events to be run at the Waikato Racing Club’s autumn meeting close to-day (Friday) at 5 p.m. with the secretary. Mr. E. H. O’Meara, Hamilton, or with Messrs. Blomfield and Company. High Street, Auckland.
